Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs

A quick, easy, and fuss free method for hard boiled eggs!

  • eggs, large
  • 1-1/2 cups water


  1. Pour 1 - 1/2 cups water into the Instant Pot. Prepare a large bowl of ice and water.

  2. Place insert into the pot to hold the eggs.  Cover and close the instant pot.

  3. Set to cook on manual high pressure for 4 minutes. (It takes about 4-5 minutes for it to come to pressure) When the timer goes off release pressure by doing a "quick release".

  4. I use a pair of tongs to remove eggs and place quickly into the ice bath. Let the eggs hang out in the ice bath for 5-10 minutes. Peel and enjoy!

  5. Eggs will stay good in the fridge in an air tight container for up to one week.
