Seriously, I have shirts that say ‘Make Me Breakfast’ and ‘Pancake Queen.’ Breakfast is my jam! And most nutritionists and diet experts will all tell you it’s the most important meal of the day.

I’m diabetic – can I eat this version??
Hi there! I am not very familiar with the diet of someone who is diabetic. You’ll have to look over the list of ingredients and decipher if this is something you can eat. Sorry to not be more help, but definitely am not skilled enough to make a medical decision for you in this way.
If I could give this recipe more than five stars I would. This recipe is so good that we even make it at our yearly extended family holiday because the kiddos and adults love it!
I liked this the first day, but it was even better reheated over the following week. I counldn’t find the exact size of biscuits, so I went with the smaller—5 biscuit—size. That was plenty and lowered the points by 1. Does anyone know if this freezes well?
Did you freeze it?
Yes! I have frozen this and it repeats well.
Having a hard time finding 7.5 oz biscuits. Can I use any size?
Yep!
This is a staple recipe in our house. My husband loves biscuits & gravy so he’s always requesting this dish. It’s super easy, reheats well which is great for a busy week when you need to grab and go.
Excited to make this for my hubby’s birthday. How many whole eggs? Thanks
I usually do 8-10 eggs whisked well with about 1/4 cup milk and a little salt and pepper if I’m using whole eggs
This is a holiday staple in our home. I’m making it this weekend and wondering if I can make ahead and bake the next morning?
Good morning :)). This is in the oven as I speak! I am cooking through my fridge so. This morning I added som leftover bacon with the sausage crumbles and had a small can of 5 biscuits. Just two of us so I used an 8×8 casserole dish. I had mozzarella cheese. Smells heavenly! Not as light as usual but will be delicious! Thanks Star! All of your recipes are great!♥️♥️
Hi Bonnie!! I hope you enjoyed this one. It’s a delicious little treat for breakfast and also makes a fantastic breakfast for dinner too!
This is absolutely delicious. It’s everything you want in a breakfast. It was also super easy. I used pre cooked turkey sausage crumbles to save on time. Will definitely be making this again.
So so happy you enjoyed!!
Could I make homemade gravy and then add it like the regular gravy to this recipe?
Totally! I actually do that quite often these days.
Will this cook the same if using regular eggs and how many should I use?
So good & easy! That’s what I like about all your recipes is they are for everyday people! Simple & delicious.
Delicious! I did not make the lightened up version. Used what I had on hand!
It’s great. Husband said it’s delicious too. I printed the recipe and plan to make it again.
Can this be put together the night before and baked the next morning?
I haven’t made this yet…I’m looking for recipes to meal prep. Would this save for the week if I made it to eat each day (M-F) for my breakfast?
Yes it reheats so well!
